JVP defends CC after President & MR's criticism

The JVP has defended the decisions taken by the Constitutional Council and accused the President and Mahinda Rajapaksa of levelling allegations at the Council in a bid to gain political mileage.

Speaking to NewsRadio member of the Constitutional Council MP Bimal Rathnayake said those who were unable to appoint political allies to independent bodies are levelling allegations against the Constitutional Council.
