Allegiance decision only after consulting India TNA

In a media briefing held on 28 October, Jaffna District Tamil National Alliance MP, Mavai Senathirajah said that they would be arriving at a decision with regard to pledging their allegiance to the person to be appointed as the Prime Minister of the country after having discussions with India. He added that their decision will be announced once the Parliament is convened. He further said there is no chance of announcing their decision, on whether they would support the new Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa or the ousted Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe, before that.
