VARMAA CONTROVERSY: DIRECTOR BALA HITS BACK
One of the shocking news of this week was about Varmaa. Varmaa which became one of the most expected films post its announcement mainly because it was the launch pad of Actor Vikram's son Dhruv and the film was the official remake of the Telugu cult film, Arjun Reddy in 2018.
The film was complete and had its promotions started with the First look and trailers released eyeing February 14th release, but it came as a shocker when the producers E4 Entertainment released an official statement that the film will be reshot completely with a new cast, crew and a director citing the output is not satisfactory.

Now, Director Bala has responded with his side of the story and released an official statement. He stated the producers have revealed a false statement and it was his decision to exit from the film much early and he had shared the document that he initiated with the producer regarding this.
The statement read " I'm forced to release this explanation due to the false statement from the producer of 'Varmaa' In order to safeguard creative freedom, it was my own decision to relieve myself from the project. Please find the agreement initiated by me and the producer on Jan 22, 2019, along with this.
With director Bala officially confirming that he has moved out of the project and the producers are announcing that there will be a new cast and crew including the director will be announced soon, there are big speculations with many director names cropping up including Gautham Menon, Alphonse Puthran and many.
