We will fix Sri Lanka’s cricket industry-Arjuna

Minister Arjuna Ranatunga says cricket in the country will be reformed after his group wins the Sri Lanka Cricket elections.

Speaking to media following a function in Gampaha the Minister said he is pleased that the state of cricket in the country has been brought to the attention of the President.

Minister Ranatunga said the President today is aware of how the sport was played in the past opposed to today.

He claimed that players alone cannot be blamed adding that the President has also understood this.

However Minister Ranatunga noted he is disappointed that, the very same people who lack the necessary qualification led to the destruction of Sri Lanka Cricket and also brought ruin upon the national government and today they continue to take to stages with the President.

Minister Arjuna Ranatunga added his group will face the election and will very soon help fix Sri Lanka Cricket.
