DMDK leader Vijayakanth to return to Chennai Saturday from America

DMDK founder-leader Vijayakanth is returning to Chennai day after tomorrow (Saturday) from America.

According to reports, Vijayakanth, who had been in America for medical treatment from 16 December 2018, is returning to the city.

He has been getting treatment for some undisclosed ailment. Photos have been released intermittently about his stay in America and this is said to have enthused the DMDK cadres that he was well and recovering.

Party deputy general secretary and Vijayakanth’s brother-in-law Sudish had recently announced in Chennai that talks were on with the BJP and other parties for a possible tie-up for the upcoming general elections.

Holding back from making any comment on the future alliance, he had said Vijayakanth would return to Chennai and make the announcement himself.

The DMDK cadres and political pundits are looking forward to the return of Vijayakanth.
