Kamal takes a dig at Stalin
Alleging that the DMK has been copying their idea of holding grama sabha meetings across Tamilnadu, Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan today said it is a surprise that only after MNM held such meetings, the DMK is conducting the same across the State.
Addressing media persions after taking part in the Rotaract Annual District Conference at Chettinad Vidyashram here today, Kamal Haasan, questioned, “Are they (DMK) not ashamed to copy our acts?.”
Taking a dig at DMK chief M K Stalin, Kamal Haasan, said, “If my shirt gets torn in the Assembly, I would rather buy a new one and wear it before coming out.”
Much recently, taking offence at Kamal calling the DMK a “corrupt party”, the party’s mouthpiece Murasoli made a scathing attack on Kamal Haasan, calling him a BJP agent who is acting up because he has a gun hanging over his head.
The half-page article on Kamal, which claimed that his true colours are beginning to show up, also said that Kamal is a “beast of burden” for the BJP and he doesn’t have the ability to know what load he is carrying. The article alleged that Kamal is cheating his followers by approaching politics in the same way as he has done over his roles in movies.
