Teacher who brutally raped student in Jaffna

A teacher was arrested on charges of sexually abusing a teenage girl.The judge has ordered the arrested teacher to be remanded and the case was taken up for hearing today. The Police filed a complaint under Section 345 against the teacher against sexual harassment charges..And The solicitor, on behalf of the suspect, demanded a bail application.

However, Jaffna District Magistrate Anthony Sami has pointed out that persecution of girls is a serious crime.and the suspect was ordered to be remanded until March 1st.

The teacher teaching art in a school in the Jaffna educational zone has sexually abused his student, claiming that a student to be punished.A complaint has been registered in the Jaffna Police on this incident.

It is said that the police had arrested the teacher who conducted the inquiry.
