POPULAR VILLAIN GOES THE RELIGIOUS WAY!
Daniel Balaji, known for his stellar performances in films like Vettaiyadu Vilayadu and Polladhavan, has now taken a religious path. The ace villain has now re-designed and built a new temple, and is very excited about it.
Speaking about the temple, Daniel Balaji says “The temple which I’ve built now, is an ancestral one, of Goddess ‘Ragdhool Angala Parameswari Amman’. It is a ‘suyambu’ (naturally occuring) temple, which has been present for the last 54 years. Recently, I decided to give it a complete new look, so that all people can use the temple."
“The temple took over 1 and a half years to be fully completed. Me, along with my friend Arun Karthik completely re-designed the temple, as per the ‘Aagama’ of temple construction. We hired sculptors from Rajasthan to sculpt the statues. Fascinated by their artwork, I learnt sculpting and sculpted a statue of a deity.”
The ‘Ragdhool Angala Parameswari Amman’ is located near the Avadi Check-post in Avadi, and is all set for a grand opening on 13th of March, with a ‘Kumbabishekam’ being scheduled for. On the work front, Daniel Balaji has currently completed the shooting for C.V.Kumar’s ‘Gangs of Madras’, where he'll be playing a cameo. He will also be playing the antoganist in Vijay's Thalapathy 63.
