Gnanasara thera’s kidney stone removed in three hour surgery

General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara, warded at the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital under prison custody, yesterday underwent surgery for nearly three hours to have a kidney stone removed. 

Deputy Director of the SJH Prabath Werawatta told The Island that the operation to remove the approximately three millimeter stone had been successful.
