35-year old shot dead in Pannipitiya

A 35-year old, resident of Kotahena has been shot dead in Pannipitiya.

Police said the body of the deceased was found at around 1145 last night, in Araliya Uyana along the Maharagama-Borella road.

Police has also discovered two empty bullets from the crime scene.

The suspects have not been identified yet.

The corpse is placed at the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital and the post mortem examination is scheduled to be performed later today.
