‘Thalaiva’ Director gives the title of his upcoming biopic film as ‘Thalaivi’!

Couple of months before, on the day of her death anniversary, there had been an update from Director Priyadharshini, a former assistant of Director Mysskin, with the sneak out of the first look of biopic reprising the late Chief Minister, Jayalalitha with Nithya Menen and also with the title of ‘The Iron Lady’. On the other hand, there had been another buzz that A L Vijay is also planning to direct the biopic of the same sensational face such that the official confirmations were expected to happen then. Continued with that, on the occasion of Jayalalitha’s birthday (February 24th), A L Vijay has confirmed about his hands in taking up the official making of this grand biopic as an update.

In the press release sent by the team, they have stated that, “This film is the only official Jayalalitha biopic and we have received ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) from Jayalalitha’s nephew, Deepak.” which is then continued with A L Vijay’s statement as, “Who else can befittingly look perfect for the title ‘Thalaivi’ than her? There’s a famous quote that says – Leaders are not born, they are made. The stature of this tall leader and her courage inspired me to say yes as soon as I was offered this opportunity.”

Bankrolled under the banner of Vishnu Vardhan Induri’s ‘Vibri media’, Cinematography for ‘Thalaivi’ will be done by Nirav Shah whereas the music will be scored by A L Vijay’s buddy music composer, G V Prakash. Vijayendra Prasad Garu, the popular writer of epic drama ‘Baahubali’ is on board for aiding with the story and screenplay of this biopic. In the stage of finalizing the cast and crew for this legendary biopic, the team is yet to announce the remaining cast and crew very soon.
