Action to link 850 Tamil Police officers in the North ! Call for young people

 Northern Police Superintendent Ganesanathan said action would be taken to link 850 Tamil police officers to control the crime in the north.He said this at the District Civil Security Committee meeting held yesterday in the Jaffna Divisional Secretariat.

He further continued,

"850 Tamil new police officers  will be added to the service.in the Northern Province Youngesters with 5 ft 4 inches high and 28-year-olds younger than 18 years old and not older than 28 should come forward to join the police.

The population of Sri Lanka is 2 million 30 lakhs. There are only 85 thousand police officers and 10 thousand Special Task Force personnel to ensure their safety of the country.

That's why we need additional police. He also said that he would meet with the Governor of the Northern Governor on this issue.
