JVP-MR discussions to abolish Executive Presidency today!

Discussions between the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa to idealize the possibilities to abolish the Executive Presidency will be carried out today (06).
JVP Parliamentarian Sunil Handunnetti stated that the propositions presented by their party on accounts to abolishing the Executive Presidency has been positively feedbacked by the Opposition Leader recently.
Nevertheless, leaders of minor parties consisted in the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), including Wimal Weerawansa, Udaya Gammanpila and Vasudewa Nanayakkara have publically expressed their opinion against the idea of abolishing the Executive Presidency. Leader of National Freedom Front (NFF) Wimal Weerawansa especially has made a warning that he will walk out of the campaign if such movement is taken place.
Up until a formal announcement is made about the presumable coalition between the two parties, no further comment on accounts to the decision can be made.
