>Locomotive drivers & guards on strike

Locomotive engine drivers and guards have reportedly launched a strike since midnight.

Accordingly the Railway Control Room stated several train journeys scheduled within the day have been cancelled.

The Locomotive Engine Drivers Union said the strike was launched owing to prevailing issues affecting their duties.
