Under FBI scanner for 2 months, Indian pilot deported for watching child porn
The United States on Monday (March 4) arrested, deplaned and deported an Indian pilot on the charges of watching child pornography during layovers in the country. The Indian pilot was handcuffed as soon as his flight from New Delhi landed at the San Francisco airport.
As soon as the flight landed at the San Francisco airport in the US, the authorities arrested him, seized his passport and cancelled his US visa.
A source told The Times of India that the Indian pilot, who is in his 50s and frequently operates US-based flights, will not be able to visit the country again.
Another source said that the Indian pilot was under the scanner of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for the last two months for downloading and watching child porn. For the last two months, the FBI had been keeping an eye on his internet usage during the layovers in the country.
He said that the investigation agency has sent a sealed dossier with evidence of his internet usage to watch child porn to the Indian authorities.
The airlines spokesperson, however, refuted the reports and said that the Indian pilot was deported over visa issues.
