Sruthi Haasan in Chiranjeevi’s film

Shruti Haasan is all set to play a meaty role in Chiranjeevi’s historical ventureSye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Sources say that the actress was mightily impressed with the character and readily agreed to do it.

Sye Raa Narasimha is directed by Surender Reddy. It is a biopic on freedom fighter Narasimha Rao from Uyyalawada, Kurnool.

The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Pragya Jaiswal, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. It will be released this Dussehra.

There are also rumours that Shruti has signed a film with Vijay Sethupathi, directed by National Award-winning director SP Jananathan. Shruti also has a Hindi film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
