Rahul, Priyanka to campaign in TN

Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra will campaign in Tamilnadu in the next few weeks for Lok Sabha polls.

“The Congress candidate for Sivaganga constituency will be announced tonight,” said TNCC president K S Alagiri.

Congress candidates for Lok Sabha polls in Tamilnadu including S Thirunavukkarasar, Jothimani, H Vasanthakumar, Dr Vishnuprasadh, Dr Chellakumar and Jayakumar called on DMK presient M K Stalin and sought his blessings.

Addressing media persons on the occasion, Alagiri, said, “The coalition led by the DMK will win the favour of public. We will win in all 40 constituencies. The huge response for Stalin during his campaigns assure us a landslide victory. Congress is fighting AIADMK in maximum constituencies. It would help us a lot. We will come up victorious.”

“Rahul Gandhi’s interaction with students in Chennai and his public meeting in Nagercoil has won us admiration. He will tour Tamilnadu and hold campaigns. The details of his visit would be announced soon. Also Priyanka Vadra is expected to campaign for us in Tamilnadu,” he added
