Mani Ratnam to shoot for ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ soon

 Mani Ratnam’s next directorial after Chekka Chivantha Vaanam will be Ponniyin Selvan. The latest is that the director has zeroed in on his lead cast and the film is all set to go on floors in December.

Sources say, “Karthi, Vikram and Jayam Ravi have been finalised to play the leads. Karthi and Jayam Ravi will start shooting for their portions from the first week of December while Vikram will complete a couple of films before joining the sets of Ponniyin Selvan. The other cast and crew will be finalised in coming months and an official announcement will be made.”

The film will be produced by Lyca International.
