Govt. should ensure constant power supply

Chief Secretary of the JVP Tilvin Silva says there is no value in a government that is unable to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

Speaking during an event in Galle Silva said power consumption is a basic human right. Tilvin Silva meanwhile questioned the purpose of the Kerawalapitiya and Norochcholai Coal Power generation plants by incurring millions of debts.

Tilvin Silva further criticised the steps taken by Engineers of the Ceylon Electricity Board claiming it was a mockery.
