person in detention attempted to suicide in Jaffna!

A suspect who was in custody at the  Manipay police station  attempted to commit suicide..The above  incident took place around 8 pm last night.Three suspects were detained yesterday in the Manipay Police Division and arrested on suspicion of involvement in the raid.

One of them tried to commit suicide.This man took the blade inside his bag and tried to commit suicide 4-5 times in his neck. After the incident, the Manipay Police took the suspect to the Jaffna  Teaching Hospital. immediately .The police officer arrested the suspect on suspicion  without checking up the the possession of his belongings has been questioned.
