One year jail term & fine for Mohan Babu
Senior actor Mohan Babu has reportedly been found guilty in a cheque bounce case. A Hyderabad court on Tuesday gave the final verdict, sentencing the actor for a jail term of 1 year. Besides, a fine of more than Rs 41 lakh has been imposed.
The case pertains to the year 2010 when Mohan Babu produced a film titled 'Saleem' with his son Manchu Vishnu as the hero. He paid its director, YVS Chowdhary, through a cheque. When it bounced, Chowdhary approached the court.
