CEB to buy 100 MW of power from private company - NewsRadio

The Ceylon Electricity Board has shortlisted three private companies to purchase 100 megawatts of power as an emergency measure to resolve the prevailing power crisis.
A spokesperson of the Ministry of Power informed that private companies were selected through accepted tender process.
The emergency purchase will be applicable for six months.
The spokesman said the terms and conditions have been sent to the relevant private entities and if agreed by the clients, the agreement will be signed next week.
