Judgement in Chennai-Salem 8-lane highway case Monday

The Madras High Court will deliver its verdict on the 8-lane Chennai-Salem highway Monday.

The case involves converting the highway into an 8-lane road by using lands / farmlands. Those owning these lands and farmlands had moved the court to stop the construction of the 8-lane road.

The court, after hearing the arguments from both sides, had reserved its judgement.
