200 ASPs face transport problems

It is revealed that due to the non-receipt of official vehicles police for newly promoted Assistant Superintendents of Police, performing their duties has been hindered.
Most officers have received old vehicles and they have been compelled to use private vehicles due to faults.
According to internal sources of the Police Department, a discussion has already been held with regard to a methodology for obtaining private vehicles on rent basis like in Army, but it has not been implemented yet.
It is said that ASPs promoted since 2016 have faced this problem.
