The UN Officials inside the premises of Vavuniya prison

Five members of UN Representatives of the subcommittee against  torture have made a visit to Vavuniya Prison today.The UN's visit to Vavuniya Prison for about 1 hour. The authorities have interacted with prisoners in prison.

In this case when media men asked them any comments regarding their visit into the prison they utterly refused give any comments.

It is reported that the UN officials asked media men not to publish any news on this matter.

It noteworthy that the team of five UN officials had had a dialogue with SriLankan Human Rights representatives yesterday.
