Three days of rain expected!

Duty Meteorologist of the Met Department says Shanika Dissanayake says that many areas in the country will experience showers during the forthcoming three days from today (April 07) concluding severe drought.

However, she said that there is strong heat expectancy in Sri Lanka from 5 to 15 April. The heat condition would exceed 36 Celsius degrees, she said.

Dissanayake further stated that heavy rainfall is expected around May this year.
