BJP activist found dead in TN

Nagapattinam: Ahead of the coming Lok Sabha elections in the State, A BJP worker was yesterday found dead and dumped in a canal near Velankanni.

According to media reports, the body identified to be that 40-year-old SenthilKumar was found by passersby who informed the police. Multiple cut injuries were found on the deceased body.

Senthil Kumar was the district president BJP’s unorganised workers wing. Tension prevailed in the area as BJP cadres alleged that Kumar was murdered. The cadres held a protest and blocked the Nagapattinam-Velankanni Road demanding the immediate arrest of those behind the killing of Kumar.
