Hailstorm in Ooty; several parts of TN receive rain

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast that Chennai will remain hot and the present weather conditions will prevail for the next 48 hours here, even as Ooty experienced hailstorm this morning and several interior parts of Tamilnadu received good rain.

The IMD has forecast minimum and maximum temperatures in Chennai to revolve around 27 and 36 degree celsius.

The sky condition is likely to be partly cloudy during the morning and mainly clear thereafter for the next two days.
