Election Commission bans web series on PM Narendra Modi

The Election Commission (EC) has banned Eros Now's Original Series Modi: Journey Of A Common Man, a web series that chronicles the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Election Commision has directed Eros Now to stop the streaming of the web series and remove all its content till further notice. Earlier, EC stalled the release of Bollywood biopic PM Narendra Modi from releasing on April 11.

The Election Commission issued a notice to Eros Now and wrote, "It was brought to our notice that a web series "Modi-Journey of a Common Man, having 5 episodes is available on your platform. You're directed to stop forthwith the online streaming & remove all connected content of the series till further orders."
