Sri Lanka blasts: Indian woman from Kerala’s Kasargod among 207 dead
An Indian woman from Kerala's Kasargod died on Sunday in Sri Lanka after the island nation was struck by eight bombs.
The elderly woman, who is a native of Mogral Puthur in Kasargod, was identified as one of the 207 people dead after the attacks.
The Kerala Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has confirmed that the victim died in the bomb blast in a Colombo church. The victim has been identified as Raseena, who was reportedly visiting her relatives in Colombo.
Officials from the state government say they are trying to retrieve the mortal remains of her body as soon as possible.
In a Facebook post, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condemned the deadly terror attack and confirmed the death of the woman from Kasargod.
