Muslim youth arrested with parliamentary entry permits
In raid conducted in a suspicious house in the Kirimatithenna area of Balangoda police division, six permits to enter into the Parliament, two live ammunitions, a cab, a map of the parliamentary access road, mobile phones, thirteen SIM cards, a tab computer, a large number of bank cards were arrested with a Muslim youth yesterday (24).
The suspect is a 27-year-old resident of Ampara and was arrested at his wife's house in Balangoda, Kirimatithenna area.
The house was inspected by the Balangoda Police based on a tip-off.
He has been serving at a restaurant in Kollupitiya.
The police said that a sheet of 4 inches had been fixed at the back of the seized vehicle.
The raid was conducted by a team of officers from the Balangoda Police and the suspect was due to be produced before the Balangoda Magistrate's Court today (25).
