Sunday masses will commence again island-wide from the 5th

Archbishop of Colombo, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith stated that the Sunday masses will be held from the 5th of next month throughout country ensuring security arrangements.
He was speaking at a media briefing yesterday (29) at the Archbishop's House in Colombo.
The Cardinal then said:
It is planned to hold limited number of masses per day in churches. We have asked security from the government for this.
We plan to work in line with security measures. Police said that they would support us.
In addition, volunteer committees will be appointed in churches. Through the committees, it will be easy to identify all those who come to the churches.
Those who attend the masses will not be allowed to bring bags and parcels to the Church.
