Anthony's Church, Kochchikade partially opens for worship

St. Anthony's Church, Kochchikade partially opened for worship today as security forces were engaged in renovations following the Easter suicide bombing.
Devotees were allowed into a section of the church to pray before a statue of Saint Anthony.
The Spokesman for the Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith Father Edmond Tilakaratne told the AFP the church was partially opened today under very tight security.
The St. Anthony's Church was among the three churches attacked by suicide bombers in coordinated attacks that also targeted three hotels in Colombo.
More than 250 people were killed and nearly 500 wounded with at least 44 foreigners among the dead.
