Senior DMK leader M Ramanathan passes away

Former DMK MP, M Ramanathan died in the early hours of today in Coimbatore due to age-related illness, party sources said here. He was 84 and is survived by his wife and three sons.
Ramanathan represented Coimbatore West Assembly constituency in 1984 and 1989 and was also member of the 11th Lok Sabha in 1996, party sources said.
DMK president M K Stalin conveyed his condolence on the demise of the politician.
