Unrest in Kuliyapitiya !. Curfew imposed to some parts !!

Last night's police curfew was imposed on Immediate  Implementation of police units in Kuliyapitiya, Pingiriya and Dummalasuriya.Police curfew has been imposed from 11.55 am to 6 am on the 13 th of morning.

Police media spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said in a media report that the law will be enforced against those who violate the curfew.

Furthermore, it is informed that the curfew has been issued to restrain the restless state of affairs.

A number of people stormed the Kuliyapitiya police station.demanding the release of those arrested  in connection of burning Kuliyapitiya-Karunpitiya-based shops of some Muslim  traders last night 

It  is noteworthy that the police had been brought to the forefront  in order to pacify the tense situation in the area.
