Govenor, PM greet Palaniswami on his birthday

Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leaders of various political parties today greeted Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on his 65th birthday today.

The Chief Minister, who is in Madurai to campaign for Tiruparakundram by-election, was greeted by Narendra Modi over phone. He wished him a long and healthy life.

Banwarilal Purohit extended his greetings, while Deputy Chief Minister O Pannerselvam and State Ministers greeted him. Leaders of various political parties also wished Palaniswami.

BJP’s State unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan took to twitter to extend her greetings. She wrote: “Having started his life as a simple party cadre, today Palaniswami, following the footsteps of former Chef Minister J Jayalalithaa, has been initiating a lot of schemes for the welfare of commonman.”

TMC chief G K Vasan also greeted Palaniswami.
