Continued tension in Kurunegala !Soldiers - Police have been largely deployed !!

In Kurunegala there has been Continued Tension In many places in Kurunegala district, Muslim mosques have been attacked last night. Attack on both Jammu mosque and small mosques was attacked yesterday.

Even today, mosques are targeted and attacked.In total there were six mosques in the area.Violent incidents have been reported in the Kurunegala, Kuliyapitiya and Giniyagama areas.

Following the violent mobs damaged  the Muslim business establishments in Kuliyapitiya, the attackers were arrested.

There was a tension following the large number of people gathered in front of the police station to release the arrested mobsters..
