Police curfew imposed island wide

Police curfew will be imposed across the island from 9pm today to 4 tomorrow morning. The Police Media Unit said Police curfew will be imposed in the Gampaha Police Division from 7 pm today to 6am tomorrow.

Meanwhile Police curfew will be imposed in the North-Western Province from 6 tonight to 6am tomorrow.Curfew was imposed following several incidents of unrest that broke out in certain areas of the island yesterday and on Sunday.
