Two Sri Lankan athletes face doping allegations!
The Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Centre states that two Sri Lankan athletes had tested positive for performance enhancing drugs.
The two athletes facing these charges are those who represent the 400 metre and 800 metre events.
It is reported that they had tested positive during random urine sample tests carried out.
However, until the Anti-Doping Centre has officially issued a report, the names of the said athletes would not be revealed.
The two athletes will be handed the charge sheets in the future and an investigation is scheduled to be initiated.
The urine ‘B’ samples of the two athletes is also scheduled to be tested and a statement would be obtained from them as well.
