A damned shock for liquor lovers ! For the next four days the wine stores and bars will be closed

The government has announced that the liquor shops will be closed for the next four days.The government has decided to close all the liquor stores from tomorrow to the 20th of the day.

Commissioner of the Excise Department Kapila Kumarasinghe said that drastic legal action will be taken against liquor dealers who act in violation of this order.

He said 1200 officers from the Excise Department will be deployed across the country to arrest people who are involved in illegal alcohol sale.
