Rice, wheat and sugar consumption increased!

The annual per capita consumption of rice, wheat flour and sugar had increased in 2018 in comparison with the previous year (2017).

According to the 2018 Central Bank report, the per capita rice consumption in 2018 had increased by 32 kg in comparison to 2017.

In 2017 the per capita rice consumption was 106 kg and it had increased to 138kg in 2018. The per capita wheat flour consumption in 2017 was 18 kg, which had increased to 19 kg in 2018.

The annual sugar consumption in 2017 was 26 kg which had increased by another 4 kg in 2018.

However, the fish consumption in 2017 was 26 kg and in 2018 it had reduced to 25 kg.
