Explosion near Congress MLA's house in Bengaluru, 1 dead

A person was reported dead in an explosion that occurred near Congress MLA Munirathana's house in Bengaluru on Sunday.

According to reports, the explosion occurred at 9:15 am on the near the Rajarajeshwari Nagar MLA's house.

A man named Venkatesh, who walking by at the same time, died in the explosion, according to Bengaluru City Police Commissioner T Suneel Kumar.

"The explosion occurred at 9:15 am on the road. One person is dead. The investigation is underway. A person who was walking on the road is dead. There is a small crater in the ground. The explosion has occurred from the ground. Explosive teams on the ground," said the police commissioner.
