Catholic priests file case against Ranil , Pujitha and Hemasiri

Catholic priests have filed a case against 13 individuals including the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremeasinghe , IGP Pujitha Jayasundara and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando in connection with the Easter Sunday attack today (21 May) , one month after the incident occurred.

Executive Director of Centre for Peace and Reconciliation ( CPR ) Fr. Ashok Stephen, Fr. Sherad Jayawardena and Fr. Sarath Iddamalgoda has taken measures to file the fundamental rights petition.

President's Counsel Sunil Watagala is to represent petitioner.
