India Team World Cup 2019 Schedule: Virat Kohli's men start campaign on June 5
The Indian cricket team has touched down in London for the upcoming 2019 World Cup where they will be fighting it out against 9 other teams for the most prestigious title in international cricket, a trophy which India has won twice in the past in 1983 and 2011.
The Indian team will now begin its preparations for the World Cup with two practice matches against New Zealand (May 25) and Bangladesh (May 28) before they begin their campaign in the main tournament against South Africa on June 5.
The format for the World Cup this year will follow a single group of 10 teams, with each team playing the other nine once, and the top four at the end of the group phase progressing to the semi-finals.
