Five police SPs issued immediate transfers

Four Superintendent of Police and a Senior Superintendent of Police have been issued transfers with immediate effect.

Accordingly, SSP UPADKP Karunanayake has been transferred as the Officer-In-Charge of the Nugegoda Police Division from the post of OIC of the Jaffna Police Division.

SP TGNWD Thalduwa was appointed as the OIC of the Jaffna Police Division from his previous Elpitiya Division while SP HSN Peiris has been transferred as OIC of the Elpitiya Division from the Mannar Division.

The Office of the Police Media Spokesman said SP BDTPA Weerasinghe was transferred to the Mannar Division from the Human Resource Management Division while SP SP Ranasinghe was transferred to the Human Resources Management Division from the Nugegoda Division.

The transfers were issued based on service requirements with the approval of the National Police Commission.
