Saudi air defenses intercept explosive Houthi drone in the vicinity of Jazan airport
The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted a Houthi drone packed with explosives heading for Jazan airport on Sunday, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Arab Coalition spokesperson Col. Turki Al-Maliki said that the drone targeted King Abdullah Airport in Jazan and that Saudi air defenses intercepted it at 7.14 a.m. local time on Sunday.
The air defenses destroyed another drone packed with explosives launched by the Houthis towards Najran airport on Thursday.
