'Jathika Sangha Sammelanaya' seeks people and monks to join Rathana Thera

Chairperson of 'Jathika Sangha Sammelanaya' Venerable Liyanwala Sasanaratana Thera yesterday (31) urged all peace-loving Sri Lankans to join Venerable Athureliye Rathana Thera's effort to save the nation from Islam terrorists.

They seek people and Bikkhus who value the peace of this country to join Rathana Thera in hands for this mission. 

Rathana Thera launched a death fast outside the Temple of Tooth Relic, Kandy yesterday calling the President to remove certain government suits allegedly promoting extremism, i.e. Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, Western Province Governor Azath Salley and Eastern Province Governor M L A M Hizbullah, from their posts.

Crowd were seen heading towards the Temple of Tooth Relic at an increasing number last evening, and security was tightened in the area, reports said.
