‘Bathiudeen, Salley & Hizbulla should resign’

National Organiser of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Parliamentarian Duminda Dissanayake has called for the resignation of Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, Governors Azath Salley and MLAM Hizbulla.

Speaking to media in Kandy MP Dissanayake said the resignations would facilitate transparency of ongoing investigations.

The Parliamentarian noted the requests by Parliamentarian Venerable Athuraliye Rathana Thera are justifiable.

MP Dissanayake stressed several concerns have arisen following the Easter Sunday attacks claiming that therefore those who have various allegations against them over the incident are responsible of making certain sacrifices to solve these concerns.

The Parliamentarian claimed the politicians will be able to regain the trust of the public by proving their innocence.
