Nuwan Pradeep ruled out of two matches

Sri Lanka’s World Cup team fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep will most likely be ruled out of the next two matches due to having suffered a finger injury during practices, according to Sri Lanka Cricket sources.
Accordingly, he is likely to miss the two matches against Australia and Bangladesh.

The match against Bangladesh is scheduled to take place on the 11th.

Considering the injury to his small finger on his right hand, it is doubtful whether the right hand fast bowler would be able to take part on the World Cup matches.

However, team Manager Asantha de Mel was confident that he would recover in about a week and he would only have to miss the match against Bangladesh.
