People invading Kalmunai! Paralyzed East! Largely accumulated army!

Tamil and Sinhala people from different parts of the Eastern Province are supporting the hunger strike which continues for the fourth consecutive day in the Kalmunai North Tamil Divisional Secretariat.

Children and elders have extended their support to the Kalmunai hunger strike at Senakkudiyiruppu Ganesha Maha Vidyalaya at 8 am today.

They said that the peace rally was held to support the fasting clergy and their fellow protesters. Youth and civilians alike showed their support by walking about 4 kilometers.

The protesters say that the Tamils in the Ampara and Batticaloa districts are engaged in a hunger strike and are giving their full support.
